Lars Petersen M.D. CEO

Lars has more than 20 years experience from R&D in the pharmaceutical industry, primarily in clinical development and medical marketing.

He was most recently Head of the Pipeline Sourcing group for Nycomed in Denmark. He joined Nycomed Pipeline Sourcing in 2005 as Senior Director. In this position he was responsible for identification and evaluation of more than hundred in-licensing opportunities within several therapeutic areas. Lars has participated in numerous due diligences and contract negotiations with biotech companies, including final in-licensing deals.

Before joining Nycomed, Lars has held positions as Managing Director at own private consultancy company, Medical Director at Novartis and Medical Manager at Roche.

These positions implicated close collaboration with sales-marketing departments, including strategic councelling, education and training, evaluation and initiating clinical studies, medical documentation in relation to regulatory issues, medical support to launch of new products and strategic-tactical councelling in relation to mature products.

Lars has main scientific experience within the musculo-skeletal, cardiovascular, and metabolic disease areas.

He received his M.D. degree from the University of Copenhagen.

Christian Abildgaard Hansen, DVM, MMPI

Christian has more than 20 years experience from R&D in the pharmaceutical industry, primarily in preclinical research and development.

Of previous engagements, he was last director in the Pipeline Sourcing group at Nycomed in Denmark. He joined Nycomed as Preclinical Director in 2005 and transferred to Pipeline Sourcing in 2007. In this position he was responsible for identification and evaluation of hundreds of in-licensing opportunities within several therapeutic areas, including haemostasis and thrombosis, neurology, pain, anti-infective and tissue management. He has facilitated and participated in numerous due diligences, interactions with authorities and biotech companies, including final in-licensing negotiations.

Before joining Nycomed, Christian worked as pre-clinical project coordinator and toxicologist at Novo Nordisk A/S, has previously worked as reproductive toxicologist at H.Lundbeck A/S after holding a position in the pharmacology unit at Leo Pharma. He completed Managing Medical Product Innovation (MMPI) at SIMI in Copenhagen in 2007.

He received his DVM degree in 1992 from the Royal Veterinarian College in Copenhagen before spending 3 years in clinical practice in the UK and Denmark.
